A little about me

I started working with the Institute for Family Health in 2011. In addition, I have served as a part-time faculty member in the Simulation Center at Columbia University School of Nursing since 2019. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young adult children, relaxing in the Adirondacks, boating, hiking, playing games, reading, and traveling.

Why I love my job

I enjoy working as a telemedicine provider because I believe I play a crucial role in advancing health equity. Telemedicine allows me to reach and provide healthcare services to individuals who might otherwise face barriers to medical care, such as geographical or time constraints or limited mobility. It is fulfilling to know that I am making healthcare more accessible and equitable for all.
