Professional experience & accomplishments

Venessa Smith-Wright was born in Jamaica, West Indies. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Barry University in Miami, Florida and an MSN from Advent Health University in Orlando, Florida. Mrs Smith-Wright has 8 years of experience as a registered nurse in acute care working in several specialties including Emergency Room, Step Down, and Surgery. She is a member of the American Nurse’s Association and is board certified as a Surgical Nurse by CCI, and as a Nurse Practitioner by ANCC. She resides in Bronx, NY with her husband, two children ,and a pet monster that identifies as a cat.
