A little about me
I am a native of Jamaica who grew up in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. I completed my medical studies at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and attended John Hopkins University for my undergraduate studies. Before medical school, I spent two years teaching high school students in the neighborhood where I grew up. I continued my passion for education throughout medical school and began to better understand advocacy and policy development. I will continue these pursuits throughout my medical career. My other passions include spending time with my family and dancing.
