Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Dr. Sayeeda Chowdhury was born and raised in New York City and hopes to serve the diverse population of the city in her training and career. She attended Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College and went on to attend Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to pursue the MD/MPH dual degree. Dr. Chowdhury was involved in many student advocacy groups and volunteered as a sexual assault advocate. She believes that every individual has the right to healthcare and wants to advocate for her patients and communities to make that a reality. The ability to connect and build long-term relationships with patients keeps Dr. Chowdhury motivated as a family medicine physician. Aside from medicine, she is a powerlifter and helps run a nonprofit organization, Strength for All.
