A little about me

I completed my MD degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. Having been born and raised on Long Island, I was intent on remaining in New York for medical school and now for residency as well, where I hope to provide equitable, comprehensive healthcare for fellow New Yorkers. Throughout medical school, I made advocacy and health equity a priority through getting involved in leadership of the student-run free clinic and my work with Fountain House Bronx, an organization dedicated to supporting and providing a community for patients struggling with mental health. I also discovered my passion for reproductive healthcare and access, spending Saturdays helping to increase community access to preventive cervical cancer screenings and health education. I am thrilled about joining the Institute and continuing to provide holistic care for my community with the help of like-minded and equally mission-motivated people.

Why I love my job

I love being a physician in a field that facilitates and encourages meaningful, long-term, trusting relationships with patients, their families, and their communities. Being in a position to not only learn more about the people that I take care of, but also to use that understanding to work with them to improve their health and ability to advocate for themselves is a privilege, the reason I chose family medicine, and what makes me so excited about my future career!.
