I have been a family physician in Ulster county for 40 years providing many different services including medical director of 2 nursing homes, teaching medical students and residents and engaged with risk management issues.

Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Dr. Weiss is interested in the developmentally disabled adult population and with his long time associate, Dr. William Gessner, provides care in the Access Program at the Kingston Family Health Center. Dr. Weiss is also interested in geriatrics and is medical director of a local nursing home. He was formerly the medical director at the Institute’s Woodstock, NY center which has been consolidated into other Ulster county practices. He has special expertise in the management of sexually transmitted diseases, diabetes and medical risk management.
