Professional experience & accomplishments
Michelle Miller has been an employee of the Institute for Family Health for over nine years, in various roles. She joined the behavioral science faculty of the Mid-Hudson Family Medicine Residency in 2018, where she provides behavioral health teaching and precepting, and works with the residents on their self-care and overall wellness. She is interested in trauma-informed care and social justice. Ms. Miller particularly enjoys training in different kinds of therapy and sharing those skills with others; as well as helping individuals identify their own self-worth and work towards goals that lead to an improved quality of life. She especially appreciates that at the Institute for Family Health, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay.
