A little about me
I started a community-based family medicine practice in Somerville MA, just outside Boston, through the Public Health Service, then continued it as an independent practice for forty years. Upon retirement I returned to NYC and feel so fortunate to be working with the dedicated residents in this program.
Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Dr. Maurice Martin led an independent family medicine office in Somerville, Massachusetts from 1979-2017. He was Chief of Family Medicine at Somerville Hospital and Cambridge Health Alliance for fifteen years and has worked with Harvard medical students and Tufts family medicine residents in a part-time capacity throughout his career. Dr. Martin plays saxophone with the Brooklyn-based Hungry March Band.
