A little about me
I am originally from Montana and love the great outdoors. I became a diabetes educator because I myself have type 1 and want to help others manage their diabetes.
Why I love my job
I live for the moment when the patient “gets it,” to see that lightbulb go off when they understand something or when they see their numbers improve. It’s a great sense of accomplishment.
Professional Experience and Accomplishments
I have been a diabetes educator since 2015 and a dietitian since 2010. I have years of professional and lived experience with diabetes including research studies conducted at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
