A little about me
I was born and raised in Northern California. I received my BA in urban studies from Brown University, and my BS in Nursing from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. As a nurse, I worked in the intermediate ICU of the VA Palo Alto in California. In medical school, I helped create inter-professional education curriculum for my fellow medical students and was published for my work on inter-professional collaboration. Outside of medicine, I enjoy exploring new cuisines, traveling, swing dancing, and spending time with my family.
Why I love my job
I get to be around people who are excited about and create momentum for systems improvement, patient empowerment, and evidence-based medicine. I have the privilege of caring for patients.
