A little about me

I joined the Center for Counseling of Harlem in June 2020. I relocated to New York from Miami, Florida where I completed my clinical training at Baptist Health South Florida. I previously worked as a program assessor for Familias Unidas, an evidence-based risk prevention intervention for families and adolescents. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a pediatric behavioral research associate at the Mailman Center for Child Development, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Why I love my job

I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families rediscover existing strengths, improve relationships, and connect to the community. I believe in destigmatizing mental health treatment and making mental health services accessible.
