A little about me
My prior clinical experience includes substance use treatment, bariatric surgery, college counseling, primary care consultation/integrated behavioral health, and work with military members and their families. My approach to care is by normalizing the stress we face day to day and the trauma many of us have been through, both in our pasts and after these past few years in the pandemic. Everyone needs a little help now and then and deserves health care that focuses on both body and mind.
Why I love my job
I have a passion for working toward bridging the gap between physical and mental healthcare with a focus on holistic treatment. My work also allows me to be involved in social justice initiatives and advocacy work. I especially enjoy working in collaboration with our family medicine residents and attendings to provide integrated care.
