A little about me
I grew up in Queens NY. I became certified as a teacher in my 20’s. I taught elementary school for the NYC Board of Education in Brooklyn NY for ten years. After starting a family, my employment was varied. We relocated to Poughkeepsie, NY in 1999. In 2018, I became a licensed master social worker, after graduating from Adelphi University with concentration in health across the life span. I have worked in the field of bereavement with Hudson Valley Hospice. I have experience in the field of working with older adults and have worked in nursing centers. I was hired by the Institute for Family Health in 2019 as a Mental Health Clinician.
