Why I love my job
Health disparities impacting historically underserved communities are why I chose family medicine. I want to empower patients in their health journey and advocate for them regardless of their background. Using my experiences and bilingual medical education I want to provide equitable and high-quality care.
Professional Experience and Accomplishments
After graduation, I worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator conducting depression research during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have also done community outreach research in the Dominican Republic studying the effects of eating habits and alcohol consumption in low income communities.
