Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Karol Serafin is a first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in North Carolina. She was drawn to medicine after witnessing the obstacles vulnerable populations must work through to obtain health care. She is passionate about addressing social determinants of health, reproductive health, and community outreach programs. Dr. Serafin loves working as a primary care provider because through medicine she can address all aspects of a patient’s life to promote health and improve quality of life.
