A little about me

I have worked over two decades as a Medical Social Worker. I feel fortunate to have worked with such a diverse population such as HIV; Substance Abuse/ MICA; Transplant Kidney/ Liver; Dialysis( ESRD); Home Care and the LGBTQ+ population. My learning experiences with each of these populations have made me more empathetic and compassionate about the needs of others.

Why I love my job

I love empowering others and watching their personal growth. I’m elated when my clients find their voice and personal strength to advocate for themselves in the community. I love working to enhance the wellbeing of others, in particular the vulnerable and oppressed population. I also love the diversity that the Social Work field has to offer.
