A little about me

I completed medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and family medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, where I was chief resident. I also served as a resident clinical instructor for the Columbia-Harlem Homeless Medical Partnership and served on the education committee of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians (NYSAFP). In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, yoga, and Broadway shows.

I enjoy working with residents and partnering with patients to improve health and promote wellness.

Dr. Hyowoun Jyung is a board certified family physician who completed advanced training in integrative medicine and medical acupuncture. Her interests include mindfulness, acupuncture and increasing access to care for the underserved.
