A little about me
I am a senior research scientist and hold a PhD in Epidemiology from the University at Albany’s department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. I serve as a research mentor to faculty, family medicine residents, and research fellows at the Institute for Family Health.

Dr. Eve Walter is a senior research scientist and holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University at Albany’s department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Dr. Walter has conducted research, evaluation and statistical analysis for over eighteen years in areas including: diabetes, behavioral health, alternative medicine, risk factors such as social determinants of health as well as studying the medical and residency educational process in primary care. Dr. Walter is highly skilled in qualitative, quantitative and mixed method research and has advanced skills in measurement and analysis including complex secondary analyses of large datasets, chart review, surveying, focus groups and interviews. Dr. Walter serves as a research mentor to faculty, family medicine residents, and research fellows at the Institute for Family Health.
