Elsen Jacob

Dr. Jacob is the inpatient pharmacy faculty for family medicine residency programs at Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH). She is also faculty for pharmacy residency programs and a clinical coordinator with the Department of Pharmacy at MSH. In addition, Dr. Jacob is an assistant professor at St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist, board-certified geriatric pharmacist and a certified professional in patient safety. Her practice and research interests include drugs of abuse and misuse, transitions of care, geriatrics, anti-coagulation, patient safety, health equity, inter-professional education and epidemiology. Her hobbies include traveling, theater and reading.
