Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Celina Serrano is a first-generation college graduate and the first physician in her family. Because of this, she feels she can relate well with patients from all walks of life. She grew up in Brooklyn and the Catskills, and had the experience of working in local emergency rooms for several years prior to pursuing her medical degree. Her family still resides in upstate New York and in her free time she loves to spend time with them, taking advantage of all the local hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. She is interested in community outreach and education, preventative medicine and urgent care and emergency medicine. Dr. Serrano values the relationships she builds with patients and their families over time. Getting to know patients, as individuals, and educating them on overall health and preventative medicine is her goal as a primary care provider.
