A little about me
I was born and raised in Florida, as the daughter of Filipino immigrants. My upbringing instilled in me a deep belief that our backgrounds, experiences, and communities are central to our health—an understanding that led me to pursue my medical degree. Before medical school, I studied public health with a focus on how health policy shapes the health of both individuals and populations. That foundation, along with experiences working in community clinics throughout college, formed my commitment to equitable, community-based care. Family Medicine, where medicine meets social justice, allows me to care for all people in ways that honor their lived experiences. It is a privilege to know my patients and to work alongside them to promote their health and well-being. Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, being in nature, reading, making art, and spending time with my loved ones.
