A little about me
I grew up in New Jersey and completed my schooling in Virginia. I fell in love with family medicine while working as a medical assistant at a free clinic in Richmond that primarily served the city’s Spanish-speaking population. During my time at UVA, I focused my efforts on addressing healthcare disparities. I was an active member of the hospital’s homeless healthcare service and conducted research studying racial inequities in the utilization of HIV medication assistance programs and electronic consults. I was co-president of the school’s LGBTQ+ organization and worked extensively with the city’s queer and gender-diverse community. I am honored to continue my medical training in Harlem and am excited to build lasting relationships with my patients while delivering high-quality, full-spectrum primary care
Why I love my job
I love listening to patients’ stories and empowering them to make decisions that improve both their medical and social well-being.
