Professional experience & accomplishments
Avni Mittal completed her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Community Health from Tufts University where she developed a passion for addiction medicine, health equity, and reproductive justice. Throughout medical school, she continued pursuing her interests by working with the Belize Ministry of Health to address barriers to accessing cervical cancer screening as well as other projects on MOUD networks. She has always prioritized compassionate care and fostering genuine relationships with patients and graduated as a member of the Gold Humanism Honors Society. She loves that family medicine allows her to form long term relationships with her patients while providing support and access to information and community resources.
