Dr. Anya Bazzell has a wide range of experiences, from interning at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program to conducting research at the University of Ghana School of Public Health. She attended Morehouse School of Medicine, where served as a Co-Director for the HEAL Student-Run Clinic and as a student doctor with the Health Students Taking Action Together Street Medicine Team. Dr. Bazzell was also a Case Investigator/Contact Tracer Team Lead, assisting in COVID-19 relief efforts. She looks forward to participating in collaborative efforts, both locally and abroad, to extend the reach of women’s health equity, literacy, and advocacy. She loves the look on her patients’ faces when she helps solve a problem or provides education that enhances their self-agency to pursue a healthier life. To her, those moments equate great privilege and there is nothing like it!
