A little about me

I strive to understand factors outside of disease that affect my patients’ health such as stress, physical activity, relationships and home environment. My work in academics allows me to stay up to date on the latest medical knowledge, and I am always willing to try or learn something new to help my patients. I’ve worked with patients from a variety of backgrounds from all over the world and value providing compassionate, equitable care to everyone.

Why I love my job

I chose to practice family medicine because of the ability to care for the whole family – grandparents, newborns and everyone in between. I value being able to help anyone that walks into the office – from acute concerns to patients with multiple chronic conditions. Primary care allows me to focus on preventing disease through cancer screenings, cultivating healthy habits and more.
