Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Andrew Malek completed his medical education at American University of Antigua. He volunteered in Syrian refugee camps during the Syrian civil war and saw the tragic health repercussions that patients faced due to the lack physicians present to address their health needs and promote continuity of care. This experience cultivated his passion in working for underserved populations and supporting those with little access to care. Dr. Malek loves being a family physician because it allows him to build meaningful, trusting relationships with his patients, allowing him to best support their health needs.
