A little about me
I was born and raised in Harlem, New York, and it’s a true privilege to be back home serving the community that helped shape who I am. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Howard University, and stayed in D.C. to earn my MD from Howard University College of Medicine. While in medical school, I worked as a patient navigator at a free clinic, where I saw firsthand the challenges many people face just trying to access basic healthcare. That experience inspired me to pursue community medicine and focus on addressing the health disparities that impact the communities I care deeply about. I am committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality care with compassion and empathy. Outside of medicine, I love traveling, trying new foods, weight-lifting, and baking.
Why I love my job
I love being able to educate and empower patients to take charge of their health and make choices that work best for them. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is building real connections with people and seeing them grow more confident in managing their health.
