Professional experience & accomplishments
Dr. Aimee Mankodi is a graduate of the Institute’s Harlem Residency in Family Medicine, where she was chief resident. Dr. Mankodi is board certified in family medicine, and is a faculty attending at the Institute where she teaches and supervises residents on the labor and delivery floor and newborn nursery at Mount Sinai Hospital. She has a strong interest in family-centered maternity and infant care, as well as caring for the medically underserved. During her residency training, Dr. Mankodi received several awards including the Obstetric Resident of the Year Award, recognizing her contributions to obstetrics and maternity care. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago and attended medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine.
