Institute Women’s Health Team Wins NYC RING Award

A team of providers and staff from the Institute, comprised of Drs. Lucia McLendon, Daniel Napolitano, Ginger Gillespie, and Linda Prine, and HealthCorps Navigator Natasha Miller, recently received first place “best presentation” at the 2012 New York City Research and Improvement Networking Group (NYC Ring) Convocation of Practices. NYC RING, a practice-based research network, is sponsored by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Department of Family & Social Medicine. The Institute’s team presented “Efforts to Expand Procedural Training in Urban Family Medicine: What is Doable and What is Not” at the annual NYC RING event, which attracted over 200 attendees representing more than 22 partner organizations from throughout New York City. The event featured 65 presentations, with only the top three receiving recognition.
