Institute for Family Health Recognized for Best Practices in Teen Sexual and Reproductive Health Care

On June 1, the Institute for Family Health joined 12 other health organizations for the event “NYC Community Clinics Lead the Way! Recognition of Best Practices in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Services”. The purpose of the symposium, which was organized by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), was to share information regarding best clinical practices for providing sexual and reproductive health care to adolescents. Institute family physician Ruth Lesnewski, MD, represented the Institute at the event, where we were recognized for participating in the NYC Healthy Teens Initiative.
