The Institute joins local partners in hosting a community baby shower

September 30, 2026

On Tuesday, September 29, the Institute joined with several community partners in Dutchess County to host a community  baby shower for expecting families. Around 120 families attended, and they were able to connect with community service providers, get information about healthcare and other resources, and enjoy interactive activities, games and raffles.

We are thankful to the Dutchess County Government and the Poughkeepsie Children’s Cabinet, who helped organize this special event. We are also grateful to Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino for joining us, and to NY State Senator Rob Rolison’s staff for attending and providing a donation of diapers.

Many thanks to all who attended!
