Institute residents lead outreach event at Kingston Warming Center

On Wednesday, March 18, Drs. Shlomo Small and Kim Van of the Institute’s Mid-Hudson Residency Program led an outreach presentation at the Kingston Warming Center, located inside the 2nda Iglesia La Mission Church. Drs. Small and Van presented information on healthy eating and digestive health, and answered questions from the audience. Around 30 clients attended the event.

In addition, Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger stopped by as part of a site visit.

The Institute has previously collaborated with the Warming Center in the past, presenting health topics such as podiatry, diabetes care, and nutrition. We look forward to partnering with them in the future!
