Institute for Family Health recognized for clinical quality excellence

November 29, 2023

This month, the Institute for Family Health received two designations through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) badge program, which honors health centers nationwide that have attained the best overall clinical quality performance. The Institute received badges for both Advancing HIT for Quality and Addressing Social Risk Factors.

The CHQR badge program recognizes health centers’ achievements in both improving health outcomes and providing patient-centered care. The HIT badge is awarded to health centers that have adopted an electronic health record (EHR) system, offer telehealth services, exchange clinical information online with key providers, engage patients through health IT, and collect data on patient social risk factors. The Social Risk Factors badge is awarded to health centers that collect data on patients’ social risk factors and that have recently increased the percentage of their patients who receive social support services.

We are committed to providing the very best care for all of our patients, and we are so grateful to the Institute staff who give their best to our patients and communities every day.
