Do you have Medicaid? Medicaid renewals are coming back, which means that there are a few steps to take to avoid losing your coverage.
- Call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and make sure that your plan has your current contact information. This way, your plan can reach you when it’s time to renew.
- If you receive a renewal form, complete it as soon as possible so that you don’t lose your coverage.
- Be careful of scams. Don’t give out personal information such as your Social Security Number or credit card information. New York agencies that administer Medicaid benefits will never charge or ask for money from you to enroll or re-enroll.
