Exhibition opens at Pine Street Family Health Center featuring local artists

June 27, 2025

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Institute for Family Health held a special event at the Pine Street Family Health Center in Kingston to showcase the work of local artists. This special evening allowed the health center to open its doors to staff, community leaders, and others to view over 35 pieces of art installed throughout the health center. The artwork includes photographs, watercolors, oil paintings, illustrations and more.

This installation and reception was developed by the Institute and long term partner O+, a Kingston-based organization of doctors, dentists and artist-activists who believe in the exchange of art, medicine and healing. Around 60 guests attended. Institute leadership, O+ staff, Kingston mayor Steve Noble and County Executive Jen Metzger shared remarks about the importance of art in health and community-building.
