August at the Institute

This August, The Institute will be hosting and participating in a number of events and activities. Here is what we have planned:

Events:

• August 5, 9:00am – 2:00pm: Sidewalk/lobby health fair at The Institute for Family Health at 17^th Street
• August 8, 9:00am – 4:00pm: Blueberry Festival in Ellenville. This annual, all-day event draws thousands of attendees.  We will have a tent and will share resources, interactive activities and more.
• August 19, 8:30am – 5:00pm: Child wellness and vaccine day at the Family Health Center of Harlem
• August 20, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Sidewalk health fair at Stevenson Family Health Center
• August 22, 9:00am-1:00pm: Sidewalk health fair at Mt. Hope Family Practice
• August 27, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Sidewalk health fair at Walton Family Health Center

In addition, many of our sites are offering backpacks and school supplies to children and teens who complete their annual back-to-school physicals, while supplies last.
