Beyond medicine, Dr. Hashemi enjoys spending time with her loved ones, including her partner and family, who are now all located in close proximity. She is a devoted “dog mom” and is often obsessing over her furry companion, Tala. Why I love my job
Dr. Yasmin Hashemi is a full-spectrum family medicine physician with broad interests ranging from preventative medicine, management of chronic illnesses, sexual and reproductive health, outpatient procedures, HIV medicine, perinatal health, and inpatient medicine. She is passionate about working with underserved and marginalized communities. Her practice is based on partnering with her patients and building relationships that foster trust and collaboration to ensure the best possible health outcomes. As a recent graduate from Mount Sinai’s Family Medicine program, she feels especially grateful to continue to be a part of the amazing residency community and help train family medicine residents.
