A little about me
I am first generation American-born and raised in the Bronx. Improving the health of my community is one of my passions, along with spending time with family and friends.
Why I love my job
I love what I do because I have the immense privilege of serving the community that I call home.
Professional Experience and Accomplishments
I obtained a combined Bachelors and Masters of Science from the City College of New York. Throughout my time at City College I found a passion for research. I completed 2 years of Alzheimer’s research and defended my graduate thesis in neuroscience with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s.
During my medical school career at Touro COM, I gained a greater appreciation for community health and preventative medicine. I also served as Vice President of the Latinx Medical Student Association (LMSA). I learned the importance of the support that underrepresented minorities in medicine deserve.
