A little about me

Dr. Urdanigo comes from a large Latinx family and on her downtime, she’s either spending her time with her six siblings or her own eight dogs. She can often be found listening to a true crime podcast or strengthening her yoga practice.

Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Talia Urdanigo was born and raised in Jamaica, New York, where she was privy to the existing social health inequities. She continued to see those disparities while training in Harlem and Flatbush. Witnessing these stark inequalities was the motivation for her to pursue a career on the front lines in primary care. She is currently training in addiction medicine further connecting her to her mission of working with marginalized communities. Her clinical interests include working with the intersection of addiction, homelessness and LGBTQ identities as well as furthering the education of clinicians to improve standards of care and the patient experience. She also hopes to incorporate her passion for integrative medicine into her practice.
