A little about me

I have been working as a Social Worker for more than 9 years.  I have had the opportunity to work in different settings including as a social worker in a primary care clinic, providing counseling and helping obtain concrete services, and as a mental health counselor in an outpatient mental health clinic, providing therapy to children, teenagers, and adults. For the past 3 years I have been a Primary Clinician with OnTrackNY, a team that works with young adults experiencing first episode psychosis and their families. I am a firm believer that each person is an expert on their life.

Why I love my job

I love being able to help people – by being a supportive listener, a kind professional for someone who is having a rough day.  I have been so inspired by my clients over the years who have set and achieved their goals, overcoming trauma and other difficult situations.
