Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Dr. Negene McLennon is from Queens, NY. Prior to medical school, she worked as a medical scribe at an urgent care center in NYC. Dr. McLennon attended the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, where she served as secretary of the Student National Medical Association and fostered her passion for working with historically neglected and medically underserved communities. Dr. McLennon was awarded Temple’s Dr. Joseph Nathan Grossman Prize in Family Medicine and graduated as a member of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. She enjoys family medicine because she is able to get to know her patients’ stories and how their life journeys have impacted their health. Dr. McLennon is committed to providing high-quality primary care to her patients and helping them establish, and work towards, their healthcare goals.
