Michelle Bejar

Dr. Michelle Bejar grew up in South Florida in an Argentine home.  She completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, where she majored in European history and found her passion for public health.  After college, she spent a year in Buenos Aires researching the effect of psoriasis on quality of life.  Before medical school, Dr. Bejar obtained a Master’s in Public Health at UC Davis, where she focused on health care reform and accountable care organizations. She recently completed family medicine residency at the Institute’s Mount Sinai Downtown residency program. She is very excited for a career in family medicine where she can merge her interests of integrative medicine and women’s health. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bejar enjoys biking, music,cooking and reading books about social psychology.
