Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Dr. Melissa Cadet Evans grew up in northern NJ and has lived and worked in NYC for the past 10 years. She has a strong passion for family centered maternity care and completed a fellowship in Maternity Care/Obstetrics at Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield Campus. Dr. Cadet Evans’ research interests include combating Black maternal mortality/morbidity and racial bias in maternity care. She enjoys traveling, various forms of art, and quality time with her family.
