Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Matthew Betschart was born in Long Island, NY, and grew up in Ridgefield, CT. He is an avid skier and aspiring mountaineer. His love for skiing and nature drew him to the University of Vermont, where he earned a bachelor of science in Neuroscience. This, along with some shadowing experiences, sparked Dr. Betschart’s interest in Osteopathic Medicine, leading him to attend New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is interested in improving access to behavioral health and psychiatric care in the area, providing his patients with whole-person care through an Osteopathic approach, and supporting them and their families through every stage of their lives and the transitions between.
