A little about me
I grew up in Queens NY, and became certified as a teacher. I taught elementary school for the NYC Board of Education in Brooklyn NY for ten years. In 2018, I became a licensed master social worker, after graduating from Adelphi University with concentration in health across the life span. I have worked in the field of bereavement with Hudson Valley Hospice. I have experience in the field of working with older adults and have worked in nursing centers. I was hired by the Institute for Family Health in 2019 as a Mental Health Clinician.
Why I love my job
I love what I do because of the emphasis on the individuality of each patient. I love being a contributing member on the team, striving to advance peoples’ health and wellbeing.
