Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Brittany Jacob was born and raised in the Southeastern U.S. and moved to NYC for residency training. She became a physician because she views medicine as a practical tool to promote social justice. She loves family medicine because it trains her to acknowledge the structural inequities that lead to disease and suffering. Dr. Jacob is excited to partner with patients to help them overcome these systemic obstacles in their lives to unlock a path towards health. Her professional interests include family planning, HIV care, and LGBTQ health.
