April 26, 2018

Nurse Practitioner fellows pose with their research project.

New York, NY (April 26, 2018) – The Institute’s annual Research & Innovation Symposium was held last night at The New York Academy of Medicine. The theme of this year’s symposium was Research and Advocacy, which had the goal of not simply focusing on the science and data of research, but the positive social impact much of our research achieves.

It was an evening of discovery and recognition of the dedication, hard work and creativity of Institute staff who constantly strive to improve their services and develop new models of care, often even after the work day is complete. At the end of the evening, attendees voted for the best projects in four categories — Research, Continuous Quality Improvement,  Innovative Projects and People’s Choice.
