Professional experience & accomplishments

Dr. Swetha Maddipudi completed her MD/MPH dual degree at UT Health San Antonio. She spent much of her time in medical school advocating for her peers as a class leader, serving in community-based student-run free clinics, and engaging in organizational medicine and legislative advocacy. Dr. Maddipudi has a great appreciation for physician advocacy and someday hopes to run for public office to lend a physician voice to policy making. She loves how primary care sits at the intersection of many fields in medicine, and she hopes to practice with a justice-oriented mindset that empowers patients in their health journey.
