A little about me

I joined the Mid-Hudson FMR faculty in 2021.  I am proud to have graduated from the first teaching health center in the country and am committed to providing high quality care to all. As a lifelong learner, I am always looking to learn new skills and love to teach residents and medical students. I am a passionate family doctor and have participated in advocacy at the state and federal level to promote both family medicine and the health and wellbeing of my patients and community. 

I love sailing, swimming, cooking, baking, quirky TV comedies and audiobooks. I am excited to explore the Hudson Valley and Catskill region with my family.

Why I love my job

I love Family Medicine because I get to be a biology nerd, coach, compassionate listener, shoulder to cry on, educator, critical thinker and active community member. I get to take care of and learn from people of all ages from all walks of life. I like to encourage my patients to advocate for themselves and their communities. My best days are when I have 3 generations in a room together and they are celebrating each other and the hard work they have done to make changes in their lives. I’m honored to play my small part in their lives.
