Institute Staff Help Raise Awareness at the Go Red For Women Luncheon
Poughkeepsie, NY (March 3, 2015) – Last Friday, Institute staff and residents attended the 2015 Dutchess-Ulster “Go Red For Women” Luncheon, hosted by the American Heart Association at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY. At the event, residents from the Institute offered blood pressure checks to help the women in attendance “know their numbers.” One of those women was reality TV star Amy Roloff from the show “Little People, Big World.”
Go Red For Women® is the American Heart Association‘s movement to raise awareness and advocate for more research so that women can live longer healthier lives, free from heart disease and stroke.
